2016 Event Calendar

Welcome to the New Year everyone!

As most of you know, I have been very busy as ACWS Federal Commander. Our Unit is still a top priority, but some of the fluffy things I have taken care of I need help with. For example keeping the photos and information on our website current. So this means we need to rely on our other Officer's and NCO's in the unit a bit more with some of the things I use to handle on my own.

At any rate, our Unit remains a priority - and key to what we do. I wanted to take a moment and let everyone know what we have our 2016 Calendar locked in and ready to go. Unfortunately we missed Live Fire due to the prep time for the event overlapping with the family time of the Holidays. Also note that this is the alternate year for Picacho Pass AZ so we will not be there again till 2017. Please look on our calendar for the remaining events we have locked in:

Calico Ghost Town (Feb)

Prado Dam (April)

Orange Empire Railroad Museum (May)

Company Meeting at San Pedro (July)

Huntington Beach (Sept)

Spring Mountain Ranch (Oct)

As other static living history, parade events, etc. become available we will post them here as well.

2013 Corporal Promotions - Jan 2013

Attention to Orders;

Pvt. Jason Lutu is hereby promoted to 4th Cpl.

Pvt. Daniel Sawyer is hereby promoted to 6th Cpl.

Their Training will be overseen by 3rd Cpl. Tom Talbot who has many years in the hobby, and is a good example of a volunteer leader. There is lots of work to be done, but we should have fun, and be like minded in our efforts on behalf of our Club/Unit's wishes.

Cpl.s should have both a Cpl. jacket, and a Pvt. jacket based on numbers at events.

We are still searching for our 5th Cpl. to be selected from southern NV.
